Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, you must be a Bhutanese citizen and meet the following minimum requirements:
  1. Diploma in IT or equivalent.
  2. At least 2 years of full-time, relevant work experience and be employed at the time of application.
  3. At least 21 years old.

Each applicant’s academic transcripts, along with any additional academic or non-academic achievements will be reviewed. Shortlisted applicants will be required to take a computational thinking test and those who qualify from this stage will be further shortlisted for an interview.

All applications are reviewed individually, and admission offers depend on the number of available seats. GCIT’s admission decisions are final and binding. GCIT reserves the right to decline admission without providing explanations for unsuccessful applications.
